1. Cut all pieces as mirror images from double-layered fabric. If you want lined mittens, cut four pieces of each palm part. If you're making simple mittens, you can complete them entirely with a serger. For sewing lined mittens, we recommend using a sewing machine, except for the wristband and palm seams.
2. Sew/topstitch the thumb area of the lower palm part to the upper palm part.
3. Sew/topstitch the back of the hand to the combined palm piece.
4. Sew the vertical seam of the wristband with the right sides together and turn the wristband right side out, folding it in half.
5. Sew the wristband piece to the palm part.
6. Turn the mittens right side out and enjoy the warmth of the finished product!
