OMMELLINEN SEWING PATTERNS

You can iron Ommellinen patterns directly onto the fabric - this is how you get an accurate end result. You can also use Ommellinen patterns as a regular paper pattern. Our patterns include all sizes, seam allowances and hem allowances. In addition to the written instructions (mostly in Finnish) you also get a link to a video tutorial. In our pattern selection you will also find free PDF patterns for accessories. Download them on your computer, print out and get started with your sewing project!

Three ways to use Ommellinen sewing patterns

  • 1.

    Iron the whole pattern sheet directly onto the fabric. Use the lowest possible heat setting on the iron, as in this way the paper can be ironed multiple times. After ironing, cut out the pieces as you normally would. Remember to mark all the notches to the fabric.

  • 2.

    Cut your own size from the pattern sheet and then iron the pattern pieces onto the fabric.

  • 3.

    Trace the pattern to separate paper and continue working with the pattern as you normally would. You will find blank ironable pattern paper from our selection.
